Lawenda wąskolistna to piękna, srebrzysto-zielona, obficie kwitnąca krzewinka, osiągająca wysokość w zależności od odmiany od 35-75 (120) cm. Liście ma wąskie, pachnące i zimozielone. Białe, różowe, liliowe lub fioletowe, małe, rurkowate również pachnące kwiaty, zebrane są w kłosowate kwiatostany, które zdobią roślinę od lipca do września.
